Role
Team managers play a vital role on our hockey teams. An organized Team Manager is vital to a successful season.
In general, a team manager will handle:
Communication
You will be passing on information between coaches, the CAHA board, and parents. You will be the point of contact with CAHA for sharing and advertising your team, helping CAHA communicate with your team about fundraisers, etc.
Game Day Responsibilities
For every home game, you will be responsible for scheduling volunteers to:
- Run scoreboard/ clock
- Track and upload game information in GameSheet
- Assign a penalty box attendant
For every away game, you will only need to assign a penalty box attendant.
Tournaments
Helping your head coach schedule tournaments. This can include collecting money, setting up hotel accommodations, organizing goodie bags for the players, etc.
